Overview

Chemical peels are some of the most popular age treatments for the face to literally “peel off” old layers. Removing dead layers of skin reveals softer, brighter complexions. Chemical peels have been used for over 50 years, and are now refined to provide you with the best results ever. A chemical peel may be used in combination with other cosmetic procedures, such as Botox®, face and neck lifts, or laser resurfacing, to enhance your overall appearance. Additionally, chemical peels can also stimulate the growth of new cells and improve your skin due to the chemical agents in the peels. Chemical peels are most certainly a way to restore your skin as well as your self-confidence!

Remember, you should always have your cosmetic procedures performed by a trained professional to insure you receive the safest, optimal results. Our doctors are certified to perform chemical peels and recommend the solutions that will be most beneficial for your unique skin type.

Chemical peels may be helpful for many different people, and with so many types on the market today, your peel can be customized to you. Procedure

Your chemical peel can be preformed in our office, and only takes about 15 minutes. A chemical solution is applied to your face and the agents in the solution work to peel apart your facial layers. Dead and old layers are generally the layers peeled off, while new skin growth and health is stimulated in the process. Your recovery may take one to three weeks depending on the type of chemical(s) your doctor uses and your unique skin type. Specifics of every procedure will vary.
