For more than 30 years, Dr. Michael Sherbin has provided exceptional surgical care in the subspecialties of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. As the Founder and Principal of the practice, he is recognized for his extensive expertise in otology, nasal and sinus surgery, allergy management, and facial plastic and cosmetic procedures. His surgical skill spans a wide range of advanced procedures, including endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, rhinoplasty, facial cosmetic surgery, blepharoplasty, facelifts, Botox, Restylane, adenotonsillectomy, myringotomy with tube placement, and tracheostomy.

Dr. Sherbin earned his undergraduate degree from the Detroit Institute of Technology and received his medical degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and BiCounty Community Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery (OCOO).

Highly respected by both patients and colleagues, Dr. Sherbin has held numerous leadership roles throughout his distinguished career. His accomplishments include serving as President of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery (1995–1996) and Chairman of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Oro‑Facial Plastic Surgery at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and BiCounty Community Hospital (1980–1994). He also served as Vice‑Chairman and Chief Physician for the Michigan State Athletic Board of Control (1996–2003) and as a member of the Board of Directors for the University of Health Services, College of Osteopathic Medicine Foundation (1996–2004).

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Sherbin is widely regarded as one of the premier academic trainers and mentors in his field. He currently serves as Program Director and Chief Residency Trainer for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Oro‑Facial Plastic Surgery at McLaren Macomb. Over the past three decades, he has personally trained more than 40 surgeons in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery and continues to shape the next generation of specialists.

He has authored and co‑authored more than 80 medical and scientific publications, contributing significantly to the advancement of ENT and facial plastic surgery.
